Christmas in the Village 2014

Held annually, usually on the first Saturday of December, Christmas in the Village brings the community together to enjoy a day of horse and buggy rides, rides on the Holiday Bus with a jolly elf, breakfast with Santa, pet portraits with Father Christmas and crafts at the library.  The day culminates with the lighting of the giant Christmas tree at the centre of Wortley Village.

9:30am-10:30am
•    Breakfast with Santa – tickets available ($2) each – Landon Library
•    Letters for Santa welcome at Breakfast
10am-2pm
•    Craft Lab Landon Library
•    Dixie Land Band and Bethany VanArnhem performing at Landon Library
10:30am-3:30pm
•    Horse and Carriage Rides – Departure from parking lot behind Westland Gallery (donations to Salvation Army accepted)
•    Amazing Christmas Race play cards (to find Uzzles) available at the Landon Library – drop box at Tuckey’s Home Hardware
•    Complete the Amazing Christmas Race and you could win a Christmas Gift Bag filled with family goodies
1pm-4pm
•    Christmas Community Bus (sponsored by OSBA)
4:30pm
•    Tree Lighting at TD  *music from Wesley Knox and Preschool of the Arts
